Should I implement a few more special states into comments and forum posts?
Some ideas:
Caustic: A matching color gif at the bottom of the comment that makes it look like it's dripping from melting, subtle movements of the letters in a liquid state, a few holes in the comment itself to indicate acidic damage, and any embedded media warps subtly.
Cardboard: A default comment state for any low-quality users deemed by moderation (an idea similar to the pink triangle from the Farms). Makes it look like their font is chicken-scratched on trashy cardboard with marker, a filter is put on embedded media to make it look more drawn on.
The extra effects could be turned off in the user settings if it impacts performance.
