The 3 great evils of modernity

Posted under /ipol/

1. You should live a long cautious life
Id rather die being able to walk and talk then a grumpy raisin, the silliest example I can think of is eating red meat making you only live to... 76.5 years instead of 80 : ( how unfortunate
2. Overglamorization of work
Nietzsche talks about this
https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/51548/pg51548-images.html
Work used to be a virtue now its a needed chore that sucks out the enjoyment of life
3. Obey
Some commands are rational some irrational
But not every command is rational
Thoughts?

There is nothing wrong with doing something that risks your life if your intentions are good such as risking your life for others, for your nation, for innovation and progress, ect... Making a jetpack is risky since you're literally strapping yourself to a jet engine, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. Don't get the wrong idea from me though, thereis nothing wrong with minimizing the risks of something that is inherietly risky, but that doesn't mean that all risky things are bad.
