When did iFunny die?

Most will say the banocaust of 2024, but I disagree. The app still had funny moments until around 2025. But we all know the real iFunny is the community, and the community died on September 11th 2025 when everyone started seething over the K dying instead of making jokes about it or more importantly posting 9/11 gemmies. It was on that day when the users had their souls claimed by the longhouse. Alternatively the day the jeffstein rat video dropped is when it died, there was always some funny thing happening every other week until the rat video.

I back up the idea of the community dying when Jeffstein posted the rat video. There was a switch that was flipped where obscenely unentertaining coal was constant and drowned out rare gems after that. In a better year, he would've been raped day in, day out for that, and several mog images of users flexing with his home in the background would circulate for several weeks straight. In fact, when his face was first posted years ago, he cowered in the corner while waves of people pointed and laughed at how ugly he was.

It was understandable at the time. Charlie Kirk’s death was an awful event and most people joking about it were legitimately celebrating it. Only like a week or two later did right winger start making Kirk jokes.

TBF, Kirkinator did exist as a right wing meme originating shortly after his death. I remember Kiyo posting an edit of him lynching a tranny soyjak after news came out of his assassination.
