on debating: honestly I think it's pointless.

It doesn't matter if you lose debate to Warrior Z and then rage at him or not in either of the outcomes both of your opinions are highly likely to stay the same, it happens in some cases to change your opinion after a debate but usually rare.

But Z isnt a great debater but a big big sophist.... Just like hows hes a zany iraqi in norway who shouldnt be there hes trying to justify his zany presence on the soybooru and thats why he resorts to theatric faux debates to flair himself up as a might mighty person!!

The only purpose of a debate in the modern age is to (hypothetically) introduce concepts that followers of one side wouldn't know otherwise due to the separation of ideas that social media algorithms encourage. Will it convince them to join the opposing side? Not unless you're a beloved Internet figgerhead like Critikal and hinge your "beliefs" (aka: nothing statements that do jack squat but posture online) on "the feed" like a bunch of normieGOYS. In fact, all the times a leftist concept came into right-leaning communities' field of view (predator vision to leftists' prey vision) on iFunny, it has only bolstered their previously-stated viewpoints which those concepts were introduced to deconstruct.
