I'd argue normies can be quite cancerous and dumb on the internet, but they aren't too bad in real life, that's becuase the internet often brings out the worst qualities in people, most commonly of them all being peer pressure, bandwagoning, parroting and relying on AI for everything, in real life, when they aren't protected behind a screen, normies put on a social mask instead, this social mask is the personality they adopt outside their house, one that's often nicer compared to their internet personality since they aren't safe behind a screen, yet still they fall to the social pressures of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out, an irrational and stupid fear), a lack of socialization (what are you even outside for?), and filming someone who got injured instead of helping them (stupid phones).
>Are normies bad people?
No, the problem is that they keep doing the same things as eatch other, normies aren't inherntly "bad", they're just not nice, except there are actually some strangers out there that are infact nice, some normies can be good people, some normies you can even make friends with. If you want to have a better experince with normies just uphold a polite personality, the easiest way to get what you what from a normie is to treat them nicely, it's highly likely they'll treat you nicely in return, atleast in the context of real life, it's a lot harder to be nice online.
