What I think could happen is that people use AI to replace their parasocial relationships instead of social media websites. This will be both LE GOOD because most social media sites will -ACK #RipBozo, and any remaining social media sites will likely be more personalized rather than commercial, but also LE BAD as it would worsen the societal atomization and the positive feedback loop social media already creates. The only social media sites that could remain are Youtube and maybe Xitter and the 'gram.
