There haven't been any new memes yet, in 2025 there was a race between King Von Anti-Piracy Screen and Locked-In Alien to see who could become the first meme of 2025, but now there are zero new memes.
Most people don't actually give much of a shit about memes and just view them as "funny thing on internet", not a kulchural phenomenon. Normies don't see a 67 meme and go "ah yes, the downfall of Western Civilization" and then scramble to spam Pepe and Sanic.
