It is the ultimate test of pious loyalty, and what is life but a fire that we extinguish only for it to rekindle?

It is actually sensical that all had to die even the babies, for they have original sin and wouldve grown up to be crooked beasts. OG eugenic selection from YHWH
3. God purposefuly hardening the Pharoahs heart for purposeful disobedience so the Jews get a victory
Oh much to learn from that, for we take lessons of God, this is a useful microcosm
