The Worst YouTube Video of 2026: Contest General

I finally got to watching it, and it's pretty bad. The entire video is like a metric ton (so three in total) of Xigger and YoupinTube animators doing a single joke poorly for around ten minutes. I don't believe there was even one instance of an entry I thought was at least clever. Every animator is convinced they're the coolest and funniest entry of the collab, and many of them, despite what you think the indie animation scene is all about with experimenting with presenting media stylistically and whatnot, blend together in a mass of children's cartoon-adjacent, detail-less slurry. There was one part that stood out to me with the first nigger entry with the impact frames where I realized that the entire trend had ironically lost all impact when they were airdropped in ghettos worldwide. Lazy people use impact frames all the time now because they can't be bothered to properly learn how to represent movement in an interesting way, so they use the Japanese excuses of bright flashing lights and an overabundance of negative space to make up for their lack of competence. Such a slog to sit through all the way. Kudos on the garbage.

Thank you for watching it so i didn't have to.

Just posted one, it was made 3 years ago so idk if it qualifies

It doesn't count since it was made in 2023, but we'll probably do a bunch of contests for YouTube's past years while we're waiting for this one to finish wrapping up. I do want to work backwards once we get more people in for more eyes on garbage, so 2023's contest shouldn't be too far off from now.
