I'm watching this movie. Its friggin hilarious. IDK why cinephiles hate it so much

I only ever heard the argument that the first Grown Ups film had a few cringe moments but was generally a decent watch. It really gets bad at the second movie, with it being an aimless pile of garbage that I can't remember the details of if my life depended on it. Have cinephiles retroactively discarded the first one after the sequel released?

Critics only like a24 or christopher nolan and especially hate comedy

I watched Cars 2 (well only the second and third acts) a few days ago and it was a very gemmy movie except McQueen being a whiny bitch about Mater leaving. Don't know why people hated it so much in the early 2010s
