The swastika is an ancient symbol dating back to almost 10,000 years old first appearing in Europe. It was once/is associated with divinity and spirituality for several religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism. The name comes from the Sanskrit word "स्वस्तिक" (svastika) translating to 'conductive to well-being'.
