2011-2013: The Will Ferrell Era

When iFunny launched in 2011, it was mostly a regular meme app until circa 2013 when Will Ferrell was considered the king of iFunny and a bunch of kik chats started coaling up iFunny. This is the least known era, with the exception of all of the random posts that got hundreds of thousands of likes

2014-2017: The Trolling Era

Around this time, many faggots likely connected to kik started posting MLP and emo shit, causing chuddier users of the app to respond by spamming edgy memes. iFunniers Le_Niqqa among other offensivess created the group "Swaggers With Attitude" and started spamming their edgy memes on fandom tags and mass-reporting fandom accounts until they got banned. Political accounts also started rising up and would become increasingly right-wing, with leftist accounts making many failed predictions over the 2016 election such as the infamous "When There's only 35 Days Until You're Elected President" meme. Meanwhile, Featured was becoming increasingly disconnected from Collective.

Many oldfags consider this to be the golden age, however the following era is superior

2018-2022: The Deep Era

After iFunny account "Saboteur" got arrested for his gay jewish friend falling on a knife. And Deep iFunny, dominated by chuds, would be born

2023-present: The Stagnation Era

Around this time the automod got really bad and jeffstein's rat video made the app kinda lame, with the banocause making the app really lame
