I tend to warn people before I go through with installations or do it when a majority of members are offline to help dash the idea of a sudden shutdown, though. Soysphere administration and server operators should've communicated this extended maintenance period better within the hour of it happening. As a result, anyone now has good reason to call into question the stability of the Soysphere's infrastructure and would likely favor archiving what they can and heading for more consistent grounds.
