I guess it's because the internet often makes out India as a wasteland braphole where despite a river being a sacred object they have no problem dumping bodies and trash so that makes it less favourable to larp as them if i had to say, to assume that Europeans, Moors, Israelites and Japanese didn't have terrible moments...
