Tomboys stem from the subconscious desire of some men for women to organically share their interests. The issue here is that no women who call themselves one actually cares about the interests of their partner, are performative individuals who have NO interests and mimic what fetishized desires shut-ins want on Reddit, and use it as an excuse to push their weird "guy with vagina" bullshit onto any unsuspecting individual. It's basically only diet-pooners who are calling themselves tomboys nowadays. You're right that those groups would be into that sort of stuff, and people who don't fall under that would drop them immediately.
I was also told in conversation with a foid that people who lust after tomboys are basically into children because female kids haven't been bullied into group conformity yet, thus giving the opportunity to find interests outside the typical female scope.
