The expected end result IS to build a new community from the remaining people that hold iF's culture in high regard and wish to understand and encourage it. As for if we should associate with the 'sphere, it's a rash call to consider our allegiances dissolved over actions partaken by degenerates that we (SWAbooru and Soysphere) both recognize as such. The populace that hadn't committed genital mutilation still regards us as a rare allied site. A status, while pinning a target on our backs from general detractors mistakenly searching for a big score, is one that I will seek to keep as I hope they would for us. I would like to remind members of the 'sphere that we do not knowingly house exiles that our own rules forbid, and if there is clear evidence and identities sniffed out, then we exile them as well.

A lot of iFunny's funniest posters moved to X, the everything app, and just post on there now. Det00, Auschlitz, I think even FatPat and Wet Memes have a presence on there. The main issue is that they just allow anything on X, so there isn't an incentive for such people to post on the Sway. If Elon Musk leaves and woke people return content guidelines then such famous memers may actually have a reason to come here.
