Theory on humanity

We are unique in that unlike other animals we are highly dynamic. Compare a humans mannerisms, attire, and ideology 100 years ago and see how different we are. Compare an animal from 100 years ago and see how similar they are. We also have the natural right to mold other species at will (see pugs or the modern banana). I wouldnt be suprised if God made us less prone to heraditary traits (epigenetics) so we are more free to practice what free will we have, while animals are like Descartes says, automatons. Maybe our concioussness evolvee from free will rather than evolution. Thoughts? Mandatory tangible Voltaire quote:

Humans are much better at sexual selection than other animals due to our intelligence. Also, because out population expanded rapidly for 10,000 years, we also evolved rapidly across different environments. Henry Harpending writes about this
