On dying in your prime

Oh ho ho
I see this idea circulate everywhere
"Better to be an achilles or steve jobs than a zogslave" (
or something along those lines)
It reminds me of Whiplash where Fletcher becomes the greatest drummer in the world only to die at 30 because of an OD
I think its better to naturally let a tree grow and die naturally, for if you yell at it to grow, itll wilt or stay firm on its path
Thoughts?

What if someone dies from something that's out of their control? (Like race car drivers after a gruesome accident during a race)

Well, its kinda in their control as they choose to be something associated with danger
So id still group it with dying in your prime
Im split on if its a darwin award or if its notable

Better example:
What if someone died in their prime from something that's out of their control? Like a tsunami, tornado, or a mass shooter.

Then it doesnt relate to my arguement of purposefully dying in your prime
