I don't think you really see "dudebros" in particular infiltrate fanbases, rather normies tend to be the ones that infiltrate instead.
In most situations, the dudebros are the ones to respect the medium in question enough to fight to gatekeep it from being ruined. Early Internet had a solid split of "nerds" and "bullies" before the normies got their grubby hands on it.

I notice this as well. Halo would be a great example of this.
The only missing part is when the people who ruined community start arguing over who it belongs to as if they were the original members, then leaving to either forget about it forever or spread their respective distorted version
It's a rather gemmy joke idea with less than stellar execution. The viscera could stand to be higher quality and admittedly more bloody to better represent the absurdity of such a wish being made. The text for the entire image should've been larger as it was rather hard to follow my first quick look-through. (Was Normie_Slayerr2 the artist for this?)
I'm going to set this as explicit and likely unfeature it, though. It's alright, but the execution needs to be better to justify putting this up on the wall of significant posts.

Wtf is Adventure man? (Sorry I'm a nuswag) And what is this web series about
From what I remember off-hand, it was a low-quality animated series created by Nick Keith about him and his animated family that iFunnyers discovered and subsequently spawned an ironic fanbase around. After interacting enough with him in his 'cord, he outsourced voice acting and writing for his "Enter the Jurassic Waterpark" episode to the iFunnyers in the server, and they gemmed it up. Basically, it's Sonichu-esque with an American Dad coat of paint. I forget why everyone from that time dropped Nick, though.
